Regional Consultation Workshops: Kolkata

The third workshop was held at Kolkata on October 1 2010. The workshop was attended by senior officials from State Governments of West Bengal, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Nagaland and UT Andaman & Nicobar. There was a very large participation from Line Departments, NIC SIOs, STQC and NISG. Industry attendance was a good cross section and included among others, Accenture, Tulip, CGI, ABM Knowledgeware, Adobe, KPMG, PWC, TCS, Microsoft, Wipro, TCS, Tech Mahindra, L&T InfoTech and ACMFI.

DIT gave presentation on Electronic Service Delivery, Strategic Control, e-District, SWANs/SDCs, National Population Registry, Standards, e-Forms & SSDG, Capacity Building, Role of STQC and Communication & Awareness.
